One of the most fascinating interviews I have had the pleasure of recording. Gordon and Samson now live in the UK and Ireland, respectively, and are vocal against the CCP regime still in force in China today. For this reason they have spoken out in their own ways. Gordon is the author of 3 books on the history of modern China, the psychology of totalitarianism - diving into why people fall into certain ideologies, including Marxism. Meanwhile Samson has attended protests in both Hong Kong and Ireland, despite receiving threats and and being followed/ taken photos of outside.
This is the reality of a surveillance state.
