Money, Money
The real purpose of currency, corruption and debt slavery, and finally removing the blocks to your own abundance
That one thing that you can’t have too much of. Right?
How many people that you know find themselves in a love-hate relationship with money? Because on the one hand, it’s never distributed fairly and there is always, always someone lacking. On the other, our lives have been set up where we can’t live without it. It’s like there’s no escaping the fact. Or is there?
Let’s find out.
How did it all go so wrong?
Let’s just remember that money was not always nicknamed the root of all evil. It had a purpose, and a very valid one at that. Remember the days of trade, when you could swap a horse for some swathes of fabric. Or someone can help fix your roof if you give treatment to their sick mother. A product for a product or service for a service.
I still think this is a wonderfully organic way of exchanging value and should really be brought back and normalized once more. The only downfall to trade is trying to figure out what your product is worth. Everything is all very fair and respectable, until someone tries to make out that their eggs are worth the same amount as someone else’s goat. Of course there is barter involved and there is no harm in negotiating, but in essence, a person doesn’t want to be giving away more than they’re receiving, as this would tip the balance. In this case, money is helpful. It gives a numerical value to how much something is worth, so you can avoid confusion or trickery. The same goes for your services. At the end of the day, what you’re giving is your time and energy in order to help others, and deserve to be compensated for it appropriately.
Currency is called so because like water, it is meant to flow. Currency was made so that it can be passed on from one hand to the next, not to be hoarded by some miser or rationed because there’s not enough of it. After all, when flow stops, so does the economy. If we want a good functioning society where there are no collapses, exchanges need to be made every day, as and when each person needs it.
…Wouldn’t the world be a better place if we’d just stuck to the original meaning of money, rather than using every tactic under the sun to manipulate and make more of it? Sadly, the people who we share this place with just haven’t all grasped the concepts of common decency, treating others as they would wish to be treated. And over the centuries, they’ve somehow managed to create the pyramid upon which they sit at the top and tell us how to live our lives. Um… I don’t remember ever agreeing to this. I don’t believe I was ever even asked if I wanted to take part.
Because if we were asked, I can’t imagine any sane person ever saying yes, I want to be at the bottom of your parasitic food chain. Yes, I want to go to work my entire life just so I can scrape by and give away my earnings to your corporations. That’s why the organizers have to resort to trickery.
You’re not told directly that this is the system you’ll be put into, but it’s taught from a very young age so that by the time you reach the age of graduation and decision making, these ideas will become so ingrained that you wouldn’t be able to imagine there’s an alternative. Conditioning will have come from parents, schools and the role models you just grow up seeing. Schooling is very much geared towards having to excel at academics, doing what an authority figure says and all dressing, acting and thinking in the same way. But what if academics is not your strength or passion? What if you have your own opinion and want to say it out loud?
Despite being a good student, I found the educational environment toxic and completely out of sync with what resonated with me. But as no one ever informed me of an alternative, I just sat through it with grim determination and started writing my novel (time well spent). It’s only now (and sadly too late for me, but not for the future generations thank God) that I have discovered there are alternatives and they’re becoming more popular by the day. Homeschooling is a growing movement, with parents now forming regional hubs where children can interact with each other rather than learning in isolation. Forest schools are also being built, where children can learn practical skills such as foraging, carpentry, but also how to be social and cooperative which each other, even in mixed age groups. There are spaces in college for those who can’t get in with school, where the environment is more professional and less like a dictatorship.
But of course most parents don’t know this, because they see everyone else shipping their children off to school so therefore believe they should do so as well. Just imagine if more people knew about the alternatives. Imagine how much of a difference it would make for our young people, if they were learning in an active and engaging environment, rather than a one-model-fits-all kind of place? For a start, there would be a massive decrease in depression and anxiety, as children would be doing more of what they enjoy, more consideration would be put on their strengths and less pressure on fitting in and keeping up. There’d be more of a focus on how to be a better person for yourself and others, meaning our youth could actually grow up to become well balanced people. They’d know their rights. They’d have the confidence to interact with others and go for their ambitions. And they certainly wouldn’t put up with this dysfunctional pyramid.
When people have a solid foundation, they are healthy, stable and know what they want. In a schooling situation, as the students don’t know about the alternatives, most will feel pressured into moving on to sixth form and university or straight into a job. Whether they wanted to or not. Who can blame them? They weren’t taught any better. Whereas those who’d grown up knowing their options would be able to choose from a much larger range. And who’s to say you have to work at all? Instead, you might —
Do an apprenticeship
Set up your own business
Travel around the world
Focus on your family
Perform in gigs and shows as an artist
Compete as a sports professional
Become a digital nomad
Obtain a plot of land, grow your food, generate your energy and never rely on any corporation ever again
Freelance
Volunteer
Join the circus
Teach others something that you’re good at
Live in a community of naturists
Or even just sit at home doing nothing at all and spending nothing at all.
When you put things into perspective, the options really are limited only by your imagination. There is no rule to say that once you finish school, you must strive to build a career. Because, let’s face it. Unless you’ve successfully found the career of your dreams, then you’re either poor and spending all your hours doing a job you hate, or you’re well off while spending all your hours doing a job you hate. Is either a win? It’s nuts. And yet it’s what millions of people are doing, and it’s what we’ve been taught from a young age. Who is responsible? Look at the pyramid.
The family lines who have scraped their way to the top did so using cunning. While the strong men were fighting wars, the weak men were making profit from wars. This is one of the reasons why society today is no longer run by an alpha male on a survival of the fittest basis, but by those with the brains and ability to exploit. Those who would have once been too physically weak to survive can now be looked after by state of the art technology and medicine. This wouldn’t be so worrying if the ruling bloodlines weren’t so twisted in the way they think, with parents encouraging psychopathic tendencies in their descendants. It’s not nice having to share our Earth with people who think we’re expendable, useless eaters. But this is where we’re at at the moment and like it or not, we’re going to have to get around that somehow. I would love to live to a day when the power can be removed from the minorities and returned to the people, but for that to happen, we’ve all got a lot of fighting to do. Outside, by opting out with our money and manpower. And inside, by bettering ourselves in order to be able to get on with each other harmoniously when these days do come (hello, Vibehood!)
As this article is primarily about money, it’s worth understanding how it works and was created so that we can claim our power back.
Most of you will probably be aware that once upon a time, gold, silver and other precious objects were used as currency back in the day. However, when carrying a large amount on your person, not only is this heavy and inconvenient, but also noisy and makes you a walking target. Enter banks. Keeping your riches safe while you go about your day with a weight off your shoulders (literally). Therefore cash - aka the paper notes we still use today that are now not even paper - act as a receipt for the amount of gold you’ve deposited. Instead of having actual value, they are simply promissory notes that give the holder the right to have their gold returned should they wish to visit the bank. Surprized? Take any note and check for yourself. The devil is in the detail.
All well and good, apart from the fact how many of you actually knew that? Surely if we were exchanging promises to pay rather than real payments it should be something we’re fully aware of? Except we haven’t been taught this at any point, the knowledge hasn’t been made mainstream. Which all leads to the question of why…
The problem is that money has been completely warped from its original purpose and it’s far easier to fool people when it’s being represented by digits on a screen rather than something you can hold. Gold backed currency may still be in practice officially, but in reality, there simply isn’t enough of the natural resource in the world to be able to swap your cash for it. Why have so many world currencies devalued crazily compared to what they once were? Because of inflation. Printing more promissory notes than it is physically possible to get back in gold. Meaning we’re closer to having a fiat currency than ever before, perhaps not even that. Perhaps all this fuss is over numbers in a banking app…
Crazy as it sounds, but the money that is being currently pulled out of thin air is actually being created by …us. Or rather, anyone who chooses to take out a loan. It works in a very backhanded way. Although I would advise against it in almost any situation, people generally take out a loan when they need to pay for something upfront which they don’t have the means to yet. Naturally, the debtor would assume that they’re borrowing physical money that already exists in the bank, when in reality this is not the case. When you deposit your hard earned cash into the bank, say $10,000, do you assume that that's locked away in a safe with your name on it? Sure, the amount on your balance will stay at $10,000, perhaps with a little interest, and you'll still be free to use it as you please. However, this is no longer money of substance - simply figures floating around in the air. It’s just that most people wouldn’t stop to worry about this, provided they can still buy the things they want with it. The bank you've deposited to only keeps a certain amount untouchable for your hands alone. In America this is 10%, although it varies from country to country. So what then has happened to the remaining $9000 you've entrusted??
The majority will be used as loan money to another client of the bank - someone completely unrelated to you. The bank isn't worried. They'll only get it back anyway, with a juicy percentage on top. So where will the debtor then get the money from to repay the extra rate, when it doesn't even exist in nature? All they have is more paper and digits floating around in the cyber space. The answer is they have to work harder, longer. If the money (gold) doesn't exist in nature already, then it's their hours worked and manpower that makes up for the shortage of money in the banks. Then, say they do repay the loan one day, that newly created money they've provided is only going to be lent to someone else later. So, thanks to this model of operating, banks have made an astronomical profit not through any effort of their own or even by printing surplus notes, but from the labour of us common people. It's literally been created out of thin air, our energy. Once again, we come back to this question: why should we be toiling away for hours of our life, for someone else's profit? Then there's the other possibility, in which the debtor isn't able to pay back the money owed. Whatever the reason may be. If they bit off more than they can chew. If an investment didn't work out. If unexpected hardship hit and a family is finding themselves having to choose between food, heating or the mortgage. Even those who started out with honourable reasons have now joined the ranks of debt slaves, and once inside that hole, it's a bugger to dig out of. This is how the majority of the world's population is kept in a loophole, a trap, and it's up to us to break the cycle.
I am by no means an expert in anything finance or economy related, so if you want to hear from some true experts I would very much recommend You and Your Cash. There is so much to be learnt in this field that I’ve barely even scratched the surface of, but that would depend on how much of your time you want to dedicate to one subject. If you would like support with legal advice, freeing yourself from debt and mortgages, asset protection and more services than I could list, turn to Empower the People. The beauty here is that they are a private organization not registered with the government, meaning that everything they do is geared towards supporting you rather than the system that would have you enslaved. Both encourage community networking, which we’re going to need in the months and years coming up.
What I do know is that if you really wanted to stop feeding the parasites nesting in the top of the pyramid, you need to stop playing their game. You may be only making changes on an individual level, but as more people awaken to the corruption and do the same then systems really do begin to topple. When an estimated 700,000 households stopped paying their TV licence, the BBC certainly knew about it. Imagine what would happen to the establishment if people were to opt out of other unwanted taxes, unnecessary loans or insurance policies, fastfood restaurants and mass produced clothing? Would a slave system still be able to exist, or would it crumble from lack of being fed? Every vote counts, as they say. And voting with your money can make all the difference. Instead of shopping at supermarkets or megachains, start supporting local markets and food stalls. Instead of working for a large corporation, find a calling that matches your passion as well as sustaining your family. The more we bring back a strong sense of community, the weaker the establishment becomes. Meanwhile, we will have access to every service or product we need in the local area, so long as we learn the art of getting along together. (Again, not all humans are at that stage yet, so it may be a good thing that the economy and political system hasn’t collapsed overnight. If it did, there’d be too much chaos and disagreement for us as people to really benefit).
When put into perspective, the lifestyle that’s laid out to us from birth is pure madness. To prioritize work and material gain over all other beautiful aspects of life is a trap, and one few people realize before their pension hits. At which point their body and mind isn’t as agile to go on the adventures they might have missed out on earlier. People fighting tooth and nail just to add a bit more to their balance has grown into a cult-like mentality, only on an international level. I can only hope that by learning what we’re up against will give you the tools fight back in your own way, creating the lifestyle and means of getting paid that you do want.
Opening up to Abundance
After all, underneath the centuries’ worth of corruption, let’s not forget the original concept of giving and receiving energy. Money itself isn’t evil, it is the way people have abused it. Imagine how much good could come from using a large lump of money towards a community project. Buying land, assets, investing into something you always dreamed about. Freeing yourself from the system rather than adding to it. All this is possible when abundance falls into the right hands. But first - how to get there? It’s no exaggeration to say that many avenues of ‘climbing the pyramid’ are blocked off for those of us not born into the higher tiers. Which means that unless we’re willing to compromise our values and morality (‘sell your soul’), chances are you’re not going to be offered a high-flying job. BUT that’s not an excuse to give up on every ambition and write it off. There are ways outside of the system that can bring you wealth, they just require extra work and a lot more independence. It means that you have to create this reality yourself, and you have to be ready to think out of the box. Wealth doesn’t even necessarily have to come from a job - there are other ways to attract it provided you’re in that mindset, which I will explain here.
First and foremost is making the decision. You might be used to turning your pockets inside out and finding nothing there, but one day enough will be enough, and you’ll realize that something has to be done about it. Or it may that you are living comfortably and not lacking in anything, but would like a boost to your balance in order to achieve a long term goal. Whatever the motives, you need to identify them and visualize how you want to improve your situation over a given amount of time. No start can be made without a healthy sense of desire.
I am now going to reference a section in my post on Manifestation, simply because this is among the most effective techniques to achieving anything.
The concept was founded by Napoleon Hill, after he’d seen enough of poverty in the world around him, then knuckled down to finding the solutions. What his work boils down to is you basically name the sum you want to earn and by when. Then speak it out loud every morning and every evening, until the desire and plan has fully sunk in to your subconscious mind. "I earn £50k per year by January 2025." Follow up by writing your statement on paper and reading to yourself daily. The science behind this is that the subconscious is responsible for the vast majority of our habits, thoughts and situations that we attract towards ourselves. So if you retrain it to a new pattern (presumably a positive one, one that you want) the mind will do everything in its power to make that a reality. The power of speaking these affirmations before sleep is that the brain can now work for you while you rest, as it is now operating on a different wavelength that is more open to new suggestions, and repeating upon waking up further strengthens the pattern. Of course, speaking words alone will achieve nothing without the unwavering faith that anything is possible. Have you ever been driven by so much passion towards a goal, that literally nothing that anyone could say to you would stop your dedication or make you doubt it would happen eventually? This is the kind of relentlessness we’re talking about. If there is a goal in your mind - be it money related or otherwise - it wouldn’t be there unless there was some plausible way of achieving it. So if you put in the work and stick with the vision through thick and thin, by default, it has no choice but to succeed in the end. (The amount of years it will take will depend on how difficult the task is and the struggle-vs-determination ratio, but if something is important enough to you, you’ll be able to determine what sacrifices are worth the trouble and which aren’t. We don’t have energy for every cause, so pick your battles wisely.)
Secondly, there has to be a practical aspect to this wealth manifestation. Gifts aside, you can’t get something for nothing in nature, just the same as you can’t get something for nothing at the market. If you are to attract more regular money into your life, Napoleon Hill suggests pinpointing what you’re going to do to deserve it. The most obvious answer would be through work, which as we’ve described earlier, should ideally be a service to others that you also enjoy doing. But to receive more, you also have to give more: go above and beyond what your job requires, make it the best quality you can. By being generous and a specialist in your field, people will respect you more and in turn offer their own help when they don’t necessarily have to. Try to make your livelihood something that energizes you, so you always want to keep on giving. Once you’ve nailed this, abundance in all forms (again, not just cash. Opportunities, friends, connections, events, gifts and more) will flow in like magic. However, work is not the only form of exchange. Provided you had exactly the same intentions in mind and a clear sense of why you choose to do what you do, you would be able to achieve the same results through volunteering, for example.
Narrowed down, the steps to becoming abundant are —
Desire - first realizing what you would like
Faith - an inner confidence that everything will work out
Affirmation - reprogramming the mind to accept the new motives
Persistence - overcome adversity, leading to strength
Strategy - planning what work you’re going to do in order to get there and what value you will give in return
And finally Sixth Sense. Follow your intuition, as this is now the subconscious giving you hints on how to act, where to go. Trust this process, as it knows better than you on how to bring about the fruition of your desire.
Here is the condensed version of the book ‘Think and Grow Rich’ in which there are 13 principles to gaining the level of success you wish. If we want to have more material wealth in this life, we’re going to have to let go of the worry that all wealth turns good people greedy and corrupt. Wrong. There is a minority who, I’m sorry to say, have done a shit job distributing goods fairly and prey on society to this very day. This makes life difficult, but at the end of the day we have to be responsible for what we create and eliminate their influence as much as possible. Just come to realize that you can be a stinking rich person as well as a person with integrity, motivation and a willingness to lift others up along the way. In fact, having more like this on the planet would be a benefit to society, as their wealth could be used to buy back land, resources and the like from the corporations, to give back to the people. Which in turn would aid us to live freely and independently, as nature intended.
So what are you waiting for? Master the concepts of growing rich and help us on our mission! ;-)
